Micaela is an art historian with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Business from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in the History of Art and Design from Pratt Institute, specializing in contemporary art history, museum studies, and the intersection of art and fashion.

Micaela brings professional experience in research, cataloging, and writing, having worked at artnet, Gagosian Gallery, and other leading galleries in New York City. She also currently serves as an art advisor at the Gallery at Saks Fifth Avenue. Her love for international travel has allowed her to experience and appreciate the art of various cultures, enhancing a global perspective. Moreover, her passion for crafting allows her to delve into diverse artistic practices, allowing her to bring a unique and personal insight to her studies and work.

Founded in 2024, Micaela Elle Art Advisory emerged out of Micaela’s desire to help friends and family navigate the art world. Today, it offers tailored art advisory services designed to meet a range of needs—from home decorating to fine art investment, collecting, and sales. Micaela’s goal is to make the art world more accessible and approachable for clients of all budgets, helping them discover emerging and underrepresented artists and platforms, refine their collecting focus, and acquire high-quality artwork. The approach is curatorial, blending a deep understanding of art history with a keen eye for interior design and creativity.

Micaela completed her appraisal studies at the Appraisers Association of America (AAA) through the Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program (CASP) in Summer 2025. This intensive course prepares students with the essential practices and standards necessary to become qualified appraisers, focusing on the evaluation of fine and decorative arts, as well as other personal property. As an Associate Candidate of AAA, she adheres to the association’s strict Code of Ethics, maintaining a high level of professionalism. Micaela is compliant with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) through July 2027 and specializes in appraising Post-War, Contemporary, and Emerging art. Her appraisals are unbiased, thorough, and confidential, consistently meeting or exceeding the standards set by legal professionals, insurance companies, and the IRS.
